“This is a great museum / interactive exhibit for adults and children alike that really gets across Da Vinci's genius. It's an easy walk from the main tourist sites of Venice and is also a manageable size - at a push, you can get around it in 30 mins, so perfect if you are pressed for time or have a short attention span. A must do if you're in Venice for a couple days.”

“Valentina is a very knowledgeable guide, and we enjoyed the tour. We felt we had just enough time to take in what we were seeing while learning some cool history. Recommend this tour! The gondola experience was slightly disappointing though. The seating wasn't stabilized and the gondolier was constantly on his phone.”

It would be nice to have a map of the botanical gardens areas or have them marked with the best ways to go. We saw a couple of nice areas, but we may have missed some due to the time constraints we had. It is a gem of Trieste for sure!”

Da Vinci Interactive Museum Venice Scuola di San Rocco - Paintings and anatomy beyond the machines

Da Vinci Interactive Museum Venice Scuola di San Rocco

11.Da Vinci Interactive Museum Venice Scuola di San Rocco

★★★★★★★★★★4.0 · 168 reviews · 45 minutes (approx.) · from $10

Explore a small, two-floor museum devoted to Leonardo da Vinci’s inventions and studies. You can test interactive models inspired by his designs, view backlit reproductions of his paintings, and follow explanations in six languages. Plan about 45 minutes, or longer if you want to try the puzzles. Admission is self-guided; audio guides are available free on request.

“Relatively small, but mighty museum! There are a number of interactive machines and supporting drawings of da Vinci‘s. There are also several, back-lit reproductions of his art with fine explanations (in about six languages) which detail his work. We also enjoyed the short film chronicling his years as an artist and inventor. On the negative side, it would’ve been useful to know that there were audio guides available for the museum. They were not offered when we presented our online ticket.”
